Erhan Aktan is a seasoned professional with nearly 15 years of expertise in the steel industry, with core competencies in product strategy, market intelligence, and commercial operations. He began his career at OYAK Maden Metalürji Group, where he held critical roles within the Product Management and Marketing departments. His responsibilities encompassed the development of production-oriented product strategies, macroeconomic indicators-based supply-demand analysis, foreign trade and market research, competitive benchmarking, and segmentation of steel-consuming sectors. Throughout this period, he actively contributed to data-driven decision-making processes by generating actionable insights that guided strategic and operational planning.
He later advanced to a managerial role focused on domestic sales and distribution channels, where he was responsible for overseeing nationwide sales operations, optimizing distribution structures, conducting market performance evaluations, and strengthening customer relationship management. His integrated and analytical approach played a key role in enhancing the company’s market position within the Turkish steel industry.
